Our substance abuse treatment focus on both Alcohol and Drug abuse. It is a 20 session, 10 week treatment program.  The program meets 2 nights per week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

The program meets on 2 nights per week with support groups being developed at the main office around the corner from DFCS (Richmond County). Not only are randomed drug screen (6 panels) are performed on the clients as well as random breathlyzer are taken during the classes. At the conclusion of the treatment, with a release from the client, the information is shared with the courts or the referring agencies and/or attorney.

As a unique feature of the program, for those clients where traveling to class is a hardship, our staff is willing to take the Substance Abuse treatment program to the client’s home.

Substance abuse assessments are performed in the home as well as the office which makes our staff unique and flexible to meet the client’s needs.
